Dance into New Years
YESTERDAY:
- woke up
- Dad came over for lunch
- had some dumplings
- passed him our Chinese tea ceremony outfits from the wedding
- Jackie went to help Tammy take down a Christmas tree
- vacuumed and cleaned
- had a review session with Eli for next found of college applications
- new emergency water filtration system arrived!
- head to workout around 6 pm
- bicep curl across the chest was a bit much
- head home to shower
- quick nap
- head to Dance Boulevard for new years event
- picked up Shubham along the way
- had fun dancing with folks
- new years celebration was a bit party-like
- head to Denny’s for a late night dinner
- some creepy guys tried to hit on Jackie while I was locking the car :(
- got home around 4 am
Empty Office
YESTERDAY:
- head to work
- vegan pizza for lunch!
- productive day
- head to workout
- so much core workout!
- pick up Jackie and Louisa
- head to climbing gym
- can tell I’m tired when it takes effort to do a 10d
- only did two climbs
- dinner at Melt in Sunnyvale
- mushroom burger was tasty
- head home
- finished some nuts Amy gifted us
- also hung up a hilarious outhouses calendar in the bathroom
Kenneth Hahn
YESTERDAY:
- woke up
- head to Kenneth Hahn state park for a hike
- Strawberry trail was showing 1 Celsius temperatures …
- finished a 3 mile hike with a little detour
- lovely views of SF
- head to an AYCE dumpling place in Pasadena
- long time for them to make food
- also, only the beef potstickers were tasty
- head home
- played a board game called Machi Koro with Alex
- pretty fun and fast-paced
- took a nap
- head to dinner with the aunties
- tasty HK style curry place
- head to The Granada LA, dance venue
- instructor was definitely more salsa than bachata
- follows were so-so
- leads were worse :(
- gave some tips to an eager guy

Christmas in Alhambra
YESTERDAY:
- head to lunch around 11 am with the aunties
- HK Cafe was starting to get crowded
- Jessica came by! but no Pouya
- head to visit mom afterwards
- left two bouquets of flowers
- met her new neighbors
- head home to take a nap
- head to Shanghai restaurant for early dinner
- there was a custom party at 5 pm
- didn’t want to wait an hour
- ended up at another restaurant
- showed the aunties a Shanghai dish with lotus root and sticky rice

- took him to a thai place in Pasadena

- replaced the water filter in the fridge
Borneo Restaurant
YESTERDAY:
- head to a workout at 7 am
- hamstrings were dying
- so many lunges
- packed car for trip to LA
- finished leftovers for lunch
- head to check out a few houses with my Dad
- head home to nap
- went to dance practice
- fixed a few things with the team!

- took one nap by a gas station
- Jackie drove last hour and a half into town
- dinner at J J restaurant
- late night HK food
- super tasty pork chop and chicken over rice
- re-enabled the water in the bathrooms

- unfortunately they smothered it with horseradish sauce

- they had two trays of pulled pork at the buffet station
- staff gave me like a lb of meat for lunch

- haven’t been here in two months
- the guy redecorated the place!
- Taylor gave me a bag of homemade granola for a Christmas present!

- very tasty and a bit spicy
- ended up in a food coma immediately afterwards
