Country Swing
YESTERDAY:
- woke up around 9
- checked out of hotel
- head to brunch at Mimi’s Cafe
- food was ok
- ended up eating a bit of everybody’s plate
- musicality salsa workshop was theoretically interesting
- combo was a bit weird, mix of different steps and timings
- country swing workshop was pretty fun
- Jackie convinced me to try a jazz funk class
- holy cow that was hard
- declined the instructor’s offer to film us …
- totally respect the people who could do it though
- left Sacremento around 5:30 pm
- head to UC Davis to visit Charlotte!
- family call with Amy around the same time
- sushi place for dinner
- not too bad
- dropped off Charlotte
- head back to bay area
- dropped by garage to pick up some inventory
- head home
- unpack, shower, made a smoothie
- ordered some wedding stuff on Temu
- found two new books to try!
Sacremento Dance Festival
YESTERDAY:
- head to workout with Taylor
- switched to Friday for some reason
- haven’t done back squats in ages
- also did a lot of oblique work
- head home for a quick shower
- head to work with Jackie
- pack all the things!
- pork cutlet with curry for lunch
- very tasty
- finished a bunch of things
- head out early
- pick up Jackie
- took a call with Zhou on the way to Sacremento
- arrived around 6 pm
- quick dinner with team
- rushed to watch other team’s performances
- crammed 6 people into a Tesla
- found a mediterranean food truck close by
- they ran out of chicken and gave us a bunch of baklava
- brought back to hotel to eat in the cafe
- of course, performances were delayed by an hour
- two performances by the team!
- celebration at Hector’s
- also, Mark brought glow sticks for the neon-themed dance social
- social danced until around 2:30 am

Rhinestoning
YESTERDAY:
- juneteenth!
- work from home
- busy day
- got to Jin Jin for lunch in Sunnyvale
- head home
- bit more work
- head to Pawan’s place for some snacks
- bit more work
- sync’d up with Franco for a student visit
- head to dance practice
- two demo performances
- picked up Happy Lemon and In n Out for dinner
- back to Pawan’s to rhinestone the follow’s costumes
- some fun throwback youtube videos

Tryouts
YESTERDAY:
- head to work with Jackie
- disappointing lunch
- taiwanese fried chicken!
- but very dry
- two naps
- costco gas on the way home
- Jackie had a chicken bake
- head to dance practice with team
- dropped off key early
- pretty inefficient, probably cost me an extra 30 mins
- dinner at Special Noodle in Milpitas
- Christine joined us :D
- not bad, and open late
- head home to sleep
Dipsea Again
YESTERDAY:
- woke up early
- picked up Eric for carpooling
- picked up lunches from Roger’s Deli
- head to Dipsea trailhead from Stinson beach with Jackie and Kat
- dropped by a coffee shop in Mill Valley on the way
- lovely day for a hike
- met some fun interns
- lots of questions about tire startup
- Luis brought his kids along
- they lasted about 1.5 miles …
- sadly, one of the new people took a fall and had a minor scrape
- finished hike by 6 pm ish
- head to Daeho in H-Mart for dinner
- Jackie bought a … bottled drink that looks like a baby drink …
- delicious short ribs for dinner
- got back by 9 ish
- foam rolled everything out

- leftover rotisserie chicken with instant ramen for dinner
- watched two episodes of Three Body problem
- caught up with Thorvald
- played an Exit Game with Jackie
- like an escape room board game

- head to dance practice at 10 am
- bit of practicing for confidence
- brunch at Sara’s Kitchen
- tasty omelette
- took a call
- then another call
- then prepped for a 3rd call that didn’t happen
- bachata performance at our dance studio’s showcase!
- fun social dancing with folks
- head home
- got Costco gas on the way
- and a fruit smoothie!
- switched to Jackie’s car
- back to Costco for gas (this one in Sunnyvale)
- bit of shopping too
- picked up a rotisserie chicken
- head to Brian’s
- spirit island with Louisa and her boyfriend Alex
- mentor chat with Caltech Brian
- finished around 12:30 am

- picked up box of supplies for wedding stuffs
- indian food for lunch
- got a bit cold since I had to wait until after meetings
