Leave San Diego

YESTERDAY:

• woke up around noon again
• head to breakfast place around the corner
  • 20 minute wait
  • wandered around a TJ Maxx
  • Jackie wasted two of her disposable contacts for her dominant (left) eye
• nice walk back
• workshop was fun
• head out to see a sunset from a nice memorial by Soledad Mountain
  • drop by a cafe for tea and boba
• came back to nap
• finished watching Wild Robot
• collected Hector’s signage for Nova Dance fest
• head back out for social dancing

TODAY:

• head back to LA
  • bit of traffic on the way
• lunch with auntie and Alex in San Gabriel
  • wontons were tasty!
  • char siu was so-so
• head back to bay area
  • lots of fog again in Central Valley
  • took a nice long nap while Jackie drove for a few hours
• dinner at Liang’s Village in Cupertino
  • forgot how expensive it is now :(
• got home by 8 pm ish
• quick unpack
• catch up on a bit of work

LEARNINGS:

• minor wounds heal faster when I nap!
