Castanets

YESTERDAY:

• head to work
• onigiri
  • oddly shaped and not as filling
• busy day at work
  • interesting developments
• Jackie came up with Niki (Sunjay’s sister)
• head to warriors game!
  • parking was a bit of a pain
  • Sunjay’s cell lost service
  • had to head to a nearby UCSF facility for free wifi
• beautiful suite to watch the game from
  • brisket was delicious
  • sushi was a pleasant surprise
  • also ran into Jerry randomly!!
• Antolin scared the crap out of everybody by passing out
  • probably dehydrated
• sadly, the Warriors lost
• tricky getting out of the stadium
• got home around 11 pm

TODAY:

• woke up around 6 am for some reason
  • probably since I’m going to sleep at a reasonable time
• head to yoga in morning
  • very sparse class
  • then a bunch of people joined like 10 minutes late
• drop off car at Costco for tire change
• Jackie picked me up from the McDonald’s to avoid traffic
• Jackie went to practice for Google choreo
• vacuumed and cleaned!
• head to toki sushi for lunch
  • super cheap and delicious
• dance practice
  • worked on turns again with Meghan
  • also fixed her arm connection for partnerwork turns
• took a nap waiting for Shubham to arrive
  • he got delayed while ordering samosas
• head to Irwin’s party
  • beautiful singing by a few Ukrainians
  • had fun with castanets and the bongos
  • somebody started setting up hooka
  • smoke probably caused some lung issues for me
• danced with Trinity, a spider researcher from Berkeley
  • also Jaz who works at Moffett field
• got to sleep a bit early after midnight

LEARNINGS:

• they study spider communication at Berkeley!
  • apparently their behavior changes if they got scared
