Garba

YESTERDAY:

• head to work
• stayed a bit late
• nobody wants to climb q.q
• skipped the ramen for lunch
  • shoyu chicken was tasty
• one nap
• productive meeting
• also productive fixes
• acai bowl for dinner
• Jackie came back late
• helped Dad with property insurance email

TODAY:

• accidentally woke up around 5 am
• ended up going to a yoga class at 6 am
  • decent number of students so early in the morning!
• head to work
• tonkatsu for lunch!
  • delicious
  • lots of onions though
• head home
• Jackie got the minivan from my Dad
  • he was having dinner with friends on Castro St
• change into my Indian garb
• head to Pawan’s place
  • picked up Pawan, Vikas, and Simren
  • head to Santa Clara Convention Center!
• they convinced me not to bring Dandiya sticks in :’(
  • but then all these people had it!
• had to take off shoes
  • luckily, Jackie brought these disposable foot sole pads
• got a bit lost, but fun with Garba dancing!
• watched a concert by a singer
  • not entirely sure who she was
  • dance performances were pretty neat
  • less ceremony with this one
• head to Shan for dinner afterwards
• drop everybody off back at home

LEARNINGS:

• if I didn’t shave my facial hair, I’d be a bearded dragon!
